Nature opinion piece: Rejection of GM Crops not a Failure for Science

Colin Macilwain (Nature, September 3 2015 Vol 525) explains why even though he’s a great supporter of science he’s “relaxed about the pending decisions of Scotland, Germany, France, Italy and others to stand up to corporate pressure and keep GM crop technology out of the European countryside.”  And he “await[s] with interest England’s response to the deal that the European Union made last December that allows its member states to make their own choices on licensing GM crops.”
