The evidence sessions will focus on Defra’s preparations for Brexit and the Committee wants to ensure that their questions reflect public concerns.

The Committee is inviting the public to submit questions to be put to Defra ministers.

Neil Parish MP, the Chair of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee, said:

“Defra is one of the Government departments most affected by Brexit and is facing huge challenges.

“We want to ensure that important policy areas are not being neglected. I hope that you will take this opportunity to share the questions that matter most to you about the work and future direction of Defra.”

Submit your question either via Twitter to @commonsefra using #askDEFRAministers or online here. Questions must be submitted by before 12pm on Wednesday 20 March. All questions received will be considered, but it will not be possible to respond to submissions individually.
