Red Tractor scheme ain’t what it’s cracked up to be

According to a new study by Compassion in World Farming and OneKind, the Red Tractor scheme ranked lowest of the major farm assurance schemes in England and Scotland and was found often to offer little more on animal welfare than compliance with minimum legislation.  (RSPCA Freedom Food and the Soil Assocation were two of the other schemes looked at.)
